Pharmacy FAQ
Does Pause POS manage prescriptions or insurance claims?
No. Pause POS is the point of sale for your shop counter. Prescriptions, insurance claims and any health-authority systems stay with your existing pharmacy software.
Do you track expiry dates or batch numbers?
No. Expiry-date and batch tracking are not part of Pause POS today, so keep checking dates the way you do now.
Is Pause POS approved by a health authority?
No. Pause POS is a general point-of-sale system for retail counters. It has no approval from DHA, MOHAP, DOH or any other health authority, and it doesn't connect to their systems.
Which barcode scanners work?
USB scanners that work like a keyboard (HID mode), such as the Zebra DS2208, which you can buy from a UAE retailer.
How long does setup take?
Usually a day or two after you send us your product list. We import up to 1,000 products for free, install the till on site and train your team.

From AED 99 a month (excl. VAT): Starter, Growth or Business. 50% off your first 3 months; pay yearly and get 2 months free.
