Keep your bank's card machine
Geidea, Network International, Paymob or any other: the cashier enters the amount on the machine and taps Card in Pause POS.
Cash with change
Enter the cash received and the till shows the change due. The cash drawer opens from the receipt printer.
Split payments
Pay part by card and part in cash on the same order.
Refunds
Refund an order and the refund is recorded against the right payment method.
A cash-up that matches
At closing, count the cash. Card totals come from the recorded payments, ready to check against your bank's settlement report.

How a card sale works
- 1Ring up the items on Pause POS.
- 2Type the total on your bank's card machine. The customer taps or inserts their card.
- 3When the machine approves, tap Card in Pause POS. The VAT receipt prints.
Payments FAQ
Do I need a new card machine?
No. Keep the one you have from your bank or payment provider. If you don't have one yet, ask your bank: Pause POS works alongside any card machine used on its own (standalone).
Do you take a cut of card payments?
No. Card fees are between you and your bank or provider. We don't add anything on top.
Can customers pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes, if your card machine accepts them. The customer taps their phone on the card machine and the cashier records it as a card payment.

From AED 99 a month (excl. VAT): Starter, Growth or Business. 50% off your first 3 months; pay yearly and get 2 months free.
