Built for UAE legal requirements
VAT, FTA e-invoicing, and PDPL aren't upsells — they're UAE laws. We include them in every plan, not as paid add-ons. Avoid AED 5,000–50,000 in FTA fines per violation.
These are billed directly by third-party providers. PAUSE POS does not mark up or collect these fees — you pay the provider directly.
Mandatory for UAE businesses. The ASP charges per invoice (~AED 1–3) or via monthly subscription. PAUSE POS includes the XML generation and API bridge — you sign up and pay the ASP separately.
Charged per transaction by the gateway. PAUSE POS includes the integration — you pay the gateway directly based on their published rates.
Talabat, Noon, and Deliveroo charge their own commission on each order. PAUSE POS includes the integration — commissions are deducted by the aggregator.
Charged per-message by Meta. PAUSE POS includes the integration — message costs appear on your Meta Business account.

What happens if I exceed 500 orders/month on Basic?
Orders are paused at the 501st. You have a 48-hour grace period to upgrade to Pro. No data loss — your orders resume as soon as you upgrade. We notify you at 400 orders (80% of cap).
Is there a free trial?
No — all plans are paid from day one. Instead, every plan includes a 14-day money-back guarantee: cancel within 14 days of your first charge for a full refund. You can also book a 30-minute live demo with our team to see the product in action before subscribing.
Can I pause or cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime — no contracts. Your data is retained per the plan's retention policy: 90 days for Basic, 180 days for Pro, 365 days for Business. Full data export is available on request at any time. Annual subscriptions have a 14-day money-back guarantee; after that, the annual discount is forfeited. No pro-rata refund for partial months on monthly plans.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit / debit card via Stripe, UAE bank transfer, and PayBy. Annual plans are typically paid by bank transfer. Business contracts are billed per the signed agreement.
Is my data stored in the UAE?
Yes — 100% UAE data residency. All PausePOS infrastructure runs on Oracle Cloud in the Abu Dhabi region (me-abudhabi-1). Your data never leaves the UAE. Sub-processors and full DPA details are at /dpa and included by default on all plans.
How does e-invoicing work, and what does it cost?
PAUSE POS includes FTA-compliant e-invoice XML generation (PINT-AE UBL 2.1) and the API bridge to your chosen ASP. You sign up directly with an FTA-approved ASP (e.g. ClearTax, Flick, Zoho Invoice) and pay them separately — typically AED 1–3 per invoice or a flat monthly fee. PAUSE POS does not mark up or collect ASP fees. We handle the XML, sequential numbering (TAXINV-, TXCRN-), B2B / B2C / B2G invoice kinds, and HMAC-validated ASP webhooks.
