When Foodics is a strong choice

- You want bundles designed specifically for quick-service, cloud-kitchen or dine-in restaurants.

- You issue invoices to other businesses and need PINT-AE e-invoice XML.
- Your internet connection is unreliable and you need to keep selling offline.
- You also run a non-restaurant business, such as retail, grocery or a salon.
Do you need an e-invoice for every sale?
No. UAE e-invoicing currently covers business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) invoices; sales to consumers are out of scope for now. If most of your sales are to walk-in customers, e-invoicing mainly matters for the invoices you issue to other businesses. Large businesses (annual revenue of AED 50 million or more) must go live by 1 January 2027 and everyone else by 1 July 2027.

- Can I keep selling when the internet drops? Which actions don't work offline?
- Does it generate UAE PINT-AE e-invoice XML, and which accredited service provider (ASP) does it work with?
- Which devices does it run on — can I use the phone, tablet or PC I already own?
- Are receipts in Arabic and English, with my TRN and a QR code?
- Is there a contract or minimum term, and can I export my data if I leave?

Does Pause POS integrate with Talabat, Noon and Deliveroo like Foodics?
Not yet. Delivery-platform integration is on the Pause POS roadmap, planned for Q1 2027. Foodics lists delivery-aggregator integration in its Advanced bundle.
Do I need an iPad?
Not for Pause POS — it runs in the web browser on phones, tablets and PCs. The Foodics 5 Cashier app is listed on the Apple App Store for iPad.
Can I move from Foodics to Pause POS?
Yes. Export your product list to CSV or Excel and import it into Pause POS; we help with setup by WhatsApp and email, Monday to Friday.
