Pause POS Partner Terms
Version 1.0, October 2026
These terms apply to partners who introduce businesses to Pause POS. They are separate from the Pause POS customer terms of service. Questions: [email protected].
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms are between Dynamic Web Lab FZE LLC (Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, licence 4426361), the company behind Pause POS ("we", "us"), and the person or business you apply as ("you", "the Partner"). They apply when we approve your application to the Pause POS partner programme.
The partner programme covers introductions to the Pause POS software subscription only. It does not cover hardware, installation or any other product or service.
2. Your role
You introduce businesses that may want Pause POS. We run the demo, set up the account, bill the customer and support them. You are an independent introducer, not our employee, agent or representative, and you cannot sign contracts, give discounts or make promises on our behalf.
You are responsible for any registration, licence or tax obligation that applies to you in the UAE. We may ask for your details, and for a tax invoice if you are VAT-registered, before we pay.
3. Applying and approval
Apply through the partner application form. We review every application, may approve or decline it at our discretion, and will tell you by WhatsApp or email.
Joining is free. We may ask for your bank account details after approval, and we will only use them to pay you commission.
4. Registering a business
To earn commission on a business, you must register it with us first, using the introduce-a-business form or another written way we agree. Include the business name, a contact person and a phone number.
The business must have agreed to be contacted by us. If it has not, do not register it. If it asks us to stop contacting it, we will.
We confirm each registration. We may decline it if the business is already in our pipeline, is already a customer, or has been introduced by another partner first. The first valid registration wins. A registration lasts 90 days from the date we confirm it; if the business has not become a paying customer by then, it expires.
5. Commission
We pay a percentage of the subscription fees (monthly or yearly plan fees) that a business you registered actually pays us for its Pause POS plan, excluding VAT, for the first 12 months of that business's paid subscription.
Founding Partners (the first 10 partners we approve, as we tell you in writing) earn 25%. All other partners earn 15%. A Founding Partner's rate applies to businesses they register during their first 12 months as a partner; businesses registered after that are paid at the standard rate. Launch-offer prices count as fees paid.
Commission is not paid on one-time setup fees, hardware, installation, add-on terminal charges, third-party fees (such as card processing or e-invoicing providers), or taxes.
We may change the commission rates for businesses registered after we give you written notice. Changes do not affect businesses you have already registered.
6. When commission is earned and paid
Commission is earned only on fees we have received in cleared funds. It becomes payable after the end of the month in which we received the payment.
If we refund or credit a payment, or a payment is reversed, we may deduct the related commission from a later payout, or ask you to return it if no later payout is due.
We pay once a month, by bank transfer to the account you gave us, within 15 days after the end of the month in which the commission became payable. If your balance is below AED 100, we carry it to the next month. We pay in AED.
7. Rules for partners
Do not make claims about Pause POS beyond what pausepos.com says. In particular, do not say or imply that Pause POS or its e-invoicing is "FTA-compliant", "FTA-approved" or certified by any authority. Do not describe features marked Beta or Coming soon as available, and do not promise results, savings or earnings.
Do not give prices, discounts or terms that differ from pausepos.com/pricing.
Do not register a business that you own, work for, or are otherwise connected to, to earn commission on it yourself.
Do not run paid advertising on the terms "Pause POS", "PausePOS" or close variations, and do not set up websites, social accounts or listings that could be mistaken for ours.
Do not send unsolicited bulk messages about Pause POS, and respect any request to stop contacting a person or business.
You may use the name "Pause POS" and our logo only as we provide them to you, and only to describe the partner programme or introduce the product accurately.
8. Personal data
When you give us details about a business or a person, you confirm you are allowed to share them with us and that they have agreed to be contacted. We use them only to follow up the introduction, as described in our Privacy Policy at pausepos.com/privacy.
We use your own details only to run the partner programme, pay you and keep records.
9. Ending the partnership
You may stop at any time by telling us in writing. We may end the partnership, or suspend it, by written notice, for example if you break these terms or if we end the programme.
Commission already earned on valid registrations stays payable under section 6 after the partnership ends, unless we ended it because you made false claims, registered businesses you were not entitled to, or acted dishonestly. No new commission is earned on businesses registered after the end date.
10. Liability
The programme is offered as is. We do not guarantee that a registered business will become a customer, or any level of earnings.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission payable to you at the time the claim arises. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
11. Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms by publishing a new version here and telling approved partners. Changes apply to businesses registered after the change.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are referred to the Dubai Courts, after first trying to resolve them by negotiation for 30 days from written notice.
The English version of these terms is the binding version. Questions: [email protected].
